BOSTON, MA -- Red Sox families will raise funds for The BASE with an online auction of “Players’ Favorite Things” comprised of baskets filled with autographed memorabilia and other choice pieces from Red Sox players. 

Starting today, July 19, fans can bid on baskets that include autographed cleats, bats, or jerseys as well as other items preferred by members of 2021 team and coaching staff, including grill tools, travel items, hats, or favorite snacks. The online auction will run through Monday, July 26, at 10 p.m. on redsox.com/basketsforgood.  

First held in 2017, this year’s “Players’ Favorite Things” charity auction is led by Gabriela Vazquez, wife of Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez.

All net proceeds from the auction will benefit The BASE, a non-profit organization that combines athletic training and competition with education and career resources to empower student-athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
