Red Sox trade infielder/outfielder Hoy Park to Atlanta Braves

BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today traded infielder/outfielder Hoy Park to the Atlanta Braves, in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom made the announcement.

Park, 26, was acquired from the Pittsburgh Pirates on November 23, 2022. He played in 23 games for the Pirates in 2022 and hit .216 (11-for-51) with two home runs. Boston designated him for assignment on Tuesday.
