ST. LOUIS, Mo., March 6, 2024 – Registration is underway for the 32^nd Ted Savage Cardinals Care Classic scheduled for Thursday, July 25, at Whitmoor Country Club with a 10 AM shotgun start. The tournament will feature Cardinals alumni from both the 1964 World Series Champion team and the 2004 National League Champion team as part of the season-long celebration of both teams. Most importantly, it will be a fun day filled with golf and giving back in honor of the late Cardinals player and front office executive Ted Savage.

Savage started the golf tournament in 1990 to help kids in our community who participate in the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program. To date, Cardinals Care has donated over half a million dollars to the program through the support of the Ted Savage RBI Golf Classic.

Fans who register for the Ted Savage Cardinals Care Classic can look forward to a round of golf at Whitmoor Country Club with a Cardinals celebrity joining each foursome. Registration includes continental breakfast and on-course refreshments, post-golf cocktails with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and an opportunity to mingle with Cardinals celebrities. Additionally, each attendee will receive a Golf Swag Bag with multiple options to choose from. Prizes will be given for first through third place teams, Men's and Women's Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests.

In addition to Lankford and Oquendo, Cardinals alumni scheduled to take part in the event include Rick Ankiel, Marlon Anderson, Bo Hart, Ray King, Reggie Sanders and many more. Fans are encouraged to check cardinals.com/golf regularly as more celebrities will be added.
