The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Wes Parsons from Triple-A Albuquerque and have placed left-hander Kyle Freeland on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain, retroactive to August 21. Parsons will wear number 18.

The Rockies have a full 40-man roster.
