Arlington, Texas—As the defending World Series Champions, the Texas Rangers will have the honor of wearing special white home jerseys and blue caps trimmed in gold for the season-opening series with the Chicago Cubs, March 28-31.

Beginning this Thursday, March 21 at 9:00 a.m., Rangers’ fans will be able to purchase specially designed Gold Collection merchandise exclusively at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.

The list of Gold Collection items available for purchase will include:

White jerseys—men’s, women’s and youth sizes

Blue Caps—adult fitted, adjustable, and snap caps

T-Shirts-- men’s, women’s and youth sizes

Novelties—lapel pins, magnets, decals, pennants, pint and shot glasses, tumblers, koozies, fan chains, and stance socks

The Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field will be the exclusive non-online retail location to purchase the Rangers Gold Collection merchandise until opening day on Thursday, March 28. Beginning Thursday. Gold Collection merchandise will also be available at rangers.com.

The Grand Slam Team Store, which is located off the North Plaza of Globe Life Field, will be opened extended hours on Thursday, March 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and then from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. daily on non-game days. Parking in available in Lot B off Randol Mill Road.

In addition to the Cubs series, the Rangers are scheduled to wear the special gold-trimmed jerseys and caps for the following home games:

Wednesday, April 10 vs. Oakland (World Series Replica Trophy Giveaway presented by T-Mobile)

Tuesday, May 14 vs. Cleveland (Corey Seager Replica World Series Ring Giveaway presented by Coca-Cola)

Tuesday, June 4 vs. Detroit (Marcus Semien Replica World Series Ring Giveaway presented by Globe Life)

All three giveaways will go to first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Field.

The gold trimmed jerseys also have a World Series Champions patch on the right sleeve.
