Exhibit is presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts

March 27th, 2024

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers today unveiled a new exhibit that celebrates the team’s first ever World Series championship and commemorates the only previous MLB All-Star Game in Arlington.

The exhibit, which is presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, contains three display cases of artifacts and photos from the 2023 World Series and the 1995 All-Star Game at The Ballpark in Arlington. The items were unveiled today by National Baseball Hall of Famer Ivan Rodriguez, who was the A.L.’s starting catcher in MLB’s 66th Midsummer Classic on July 11, 1995.

The Rangers, in collaboration with the club’s Archival Service Company, Heritage Werks, created and curated the exhibit. All of the items are from the team’s archive’s collection, the Rangers Vault.

The 2023 World Series Champions case includes:

--Baseball used by Josh Sborz to strike out Ketel Marte for final out of the 2023 World Series

--Rangers’ official lineup card from Game 5 of the 2023 World Series

--Jersey worn by Corey Seager in Game 1 of the 2023 World Series (game-tying 9th inning homer)

--Bat used by Adolis Garcia in 2023 World Series

The 1995 All-Star Game exhibit includes:

--A.L. and N.L. Managers’ lineup cards—17 future Hall of Famers were on the 1995 ASG rosters

--Game used home plate, pitcher rubber, and base from 1995 All-Star Game

--1995 All-Star MLB Trophy presented to Jeff Conine of the Florida Marlins

--Baseball signed by 1995 A.L. All-Star Team

The exhibit is located at the Southeast Entrance lobby of Globe Life Field and will be available for viewing at all Rangers home games this season. It is also expected to be a stop for the Globe Life Field public tours.
