ORIOLES NIKE RBI SUPPORTED BY GIANT FOOD END OF SEASON PICNIC
The Orioles, along with Giant Food, will host the Nike RBI 12U baseball and 14U and 18U softball teams for a pregame picnic to celebrate the RBI season. Players and coaches of the division winners will be recognized on the field as part of a pregame ceremony. More than 600 players and coaches participated in this year's Orioles Nike RBI program, supported by Giant Food.

MAKE-A-WISH VISIT: James
The Orioles will host JAMES, a 14-year-old from Bel Air, Md., and his family for a Make-A-Wish visit. A lifelong Orioles fan with a passion for sports broadcasting, James, who is on the autism spectrum, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March 2022. As part of his Make-A-Wish experience, James will get to experience what it is like to be an Orioles broadcaster for the day.
IN THE COMMUNITY: Prom Series
The Orioles Family Program will partner with Prom Series to provide back-to-school outfits to local girls in foster care. Orioles families will purchase clothing and put together goodie bags to be donated to Building Families for Children for youth in need.

CITY CONNECT FRIDAY
The Orioles will wear their City Connect jerseys for every Friday home game for the remainder of the season. Fans can purchase their City Connect gear at the Team Store located along Eutaw Street, or at the pop-up team store along the third base line. CITY CONNECT CHANGEMAKER: Taharka Brothers Ice Cream
As part of the City Connect City Changemakers series, the Orioles will recognize a group or individual who is making a difference in the City of Baltimore at each Friday home game. This week the Orioles will recognize TAHARKA BROTHERS ICE CREAM. Created in Baltimore, Taharka Brothers Ice Cream is managed and operated by young adults from some of Baltimore’s most troubled neighborhoods. Their flavors are Baltimore inspired and include “collaborations” with other local businesses. Fans can purchase Taharka Brothers Ice Cream at the ballpark near Section 56.
PREGAME CEREMONY: Anthony Santander Heart and Hustle Team Award Presentation
Manager BRANDON HYDE will present outfielder ANTHONY SANTANDER with his Heart and Hustle Team Award prior to the game. The award honors active players who demonstrate a passion for baseball and best embody the values, spirit, and traditions of the game. The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association formed 30 committees, comprised of alumni players, who chose the individual nominees for each team. At the end of the season, all alumni and active players will vote to select the final winner from the 30 team winners.
FIRST PITCH: Arthur Green
GREEN, a 106-year-old Orioles fan, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Green moved to Baltimore when he was just four years old and has lived here ever since. A WWII and Korean War veteran, Green is life-long baseball fan who has had the privilege of watching Lou Gehrig, Jackie Robinson, and Babe Ruth all play in person.

STUFF THE BUS WITH WBAL CARES
The Orioles, in partnership with WBAL Cares, will host a Stuff the Bus collection drive at Oriole Park to provide Baltimore City Public School students with school supplies. Fans are encouraged to bring newly purchased school supplies, including pencils, highlighters, markers, crayons, glue sticks, and hand sanitizer, with them to the ballpark. Volunteers will be located at each gate from 5 p.m. through the first inning to collect donations.
UNIVERSITY NIGHT
The Orioles will recognize students, alumni, and supporters of Syracuse University, James Madison University, Penn State University, West Virginia University, and Loyola-Blakefield High School at the game. Those who purchase the special university night ticket package will receive a unique Orioles hat featuring their school's colors, while supplies last. IN THE COMMUNITY: Charity Fantasy Football League with Kyle Gibson
Orioles pitcher KYLE GIBSON, along with Big League Impact and the Baltimore Orioles, will host a Charity Fantasy Football League kick-off event at Oriole Park. Attendees will be treated to a one-of-a-kind gameday experience, including a photo on the field, a pregame Q&A session with Orioles players participating in the league, playing catch with select Orioles players, and the chance to watch Orioles batting practice. Proceeds from the event will benefit HELP ONE NOW, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families in developing countries through entrepreneurship, education, and restorative care.
BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Chad Hicks
The Orioles will recognize HICKS, a PhD student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, as their Birdland Community Hero. In the fall of 2018, he helped found the Johns Hopkins chapter of Science in Action, delivering hands-on, engaging science lessons to students at William Paca Elementary School in Baltimore. Since the organization’s inception, they have provided 200 science lessons to nearly 1,000 students.

EARLY BIRD SATURDAY
Gates will open to fans two hours prior to first pitch before every Saturday home game this season. This Saturday, MALLOW HILL, a local rock group, will perform for fans in Legends Park from 5-6:45 p.m. Fans can enjoy special happy hour deals at Legends Park from 5-6 p.m., including select $5.00 16 oz. domestic beers, as well as $2.50 soft pretzels and popcorn. Players will sign autographs for fans along the field during this time.

The Orioles and Budweiser will recognize ABIGAIL ELSON, a student at the University of Maryland, as part of Budweiser's Folds of Honor Program. The Folds of Honor Program provides scholarships to family members of fallen or injured heroes.

CARDBOARD TO LEATHER EQUIPMENT COLLECTION, PRESENTED BY PEPSI STRONGER TOGETHER AND GIANT FOOD
The Orioles and Oriole Advocates, along with Pepsi Stronger Together and Giant Food, will host an equipment collection at Oriole Park. Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used baseball and softball equipment at Gates A, H, and Home Plate Plaza. The collection will take place through the end of the fourth inning. The Oriole Advocates will also host a silent auction in the main concourse in front of Gate D until the end of the second inning. For nearly three decades, the Oriole Advocates have donated more than 100 tons of equipment to local communities.
HEROES CORNER: NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore
The Orioles donated game tickets to NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR MENTAL ILLNESS (NAMI) METROPOLITAN BALTIMORE as part of their Heroes Corner Program. NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore improves the lives of individuals living with mental health conditions, their families, and communities through education, support, and advocacy. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show their appreciation to frontline workers and volunteers in our community.
MILITARY SUITES: The Wounded Warrior Project
The Orioles will recognize veterans from THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT as part of their Military Suite Program. As a thank you for their service, the Orioles will provide them with a complimentary catered suite and O’s military-themed hats and t-shirts. The Orioles will also recognize them with an in-game welcome on the scoreboard. The Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

The Orioles will recognize 16 members from their Event Staff, Box Office, and In-Game Entertainment teams as they celebrate 25 years with the organization. As a thank you for their dedication, each staff member will receive a special 25-year anniversary ring. Recipients and their guests will also be treated to a catered pregame party and complimentary game tickets.

ORANGE & BLACK GIVES BACK: Baltimore Community ToolBank
Members of Orange & Black Gives Back, the Orioles employee volunteer program, will volunteer at the Baltimore Community ToolBank, helping to organize their warehouse and maintain their gardens. The Baltimore Community ToolBank serves community-based organizations by providing tools, equipment, and expertise to empower their most ambitious goals. The Orioles Orange & Black Gives Back employee volunteer program has completed eight volunteer projects so far this year.
HEROES CORNER SALUTE TO SERVICE: Operation Second Chance
The Orioles will donate game tickets to members of OPERATION SECOND CHANCE. Operation Second Chance supports veterans and their families by building relationships and supporting their immediate needs and interests. Heroes Corner Salute to Service is an extension of the Orioles Heroes Corner program, which was founded in 2021 as a way for the Orioles to say thank you and show their appreciation to frontline workers and volunteers in our community.
UMPS CARE: Mindful Mentors
The Orioles and UMPS Care Charities, the official philanthropy of the MLB Umpires, will host members from Mindful Mentors Planting Seeds. Mindful Mentors aims to increase academic achievement in student athletes in Baltimore City through year-round programming.
