MIAMI –It’s time to kick back and experience the ballgame in a totally different way – it’s time for Recess!
In partnership with Miami’s own RJ Hospitality, the Miami Marlins are excited to introduce Recess Sports Lounge at loanDepot park, a fresh experience in one of the most unique spots of any sports venue. South Florida’s hottest new sports lounge combines food, music and fun with guests practically standing in left field! The Recess Sports Lounge is the double play Miami has been waiting for, with a traditional American menu infused with a Latin twist and an extensive lineup of handcrafted signature cocktails and craft beer.
RJ Hospitality, creators of Centro in Wynwood and Bandaleros in Ft. Lauderdale as well as the operators of DAER, and led by Miami’s Jose Estrada, brings its leading expertise in Miami entertainment and culture to loanDepot park. Recess, just beyond the left field fence and boasting one-of-a-kind views directly onto the field, will feature an upbeat vibe and DJ-infused game experience. The unique, vibrant energy found at Recess reflects the culture of South Florida, providing guests a new way to experience the game as only Miami can offer.
“Recess will be the hottest new way for fans to experience Marlins baseball, creating a destination that exudes the vibe of Miami from the look and feel to the tastes and sounds,” said Michael Shaw, Marlins Senior Vice President of Experience and Brand. “From the onset, we wanted a local partner that could connect to the culture of our city. Jose and RJ Hospitality came through and developed a concept that will be a must-visit destination for sport fans and entertainment seekers.”
“The Marlins share our vision of bringing the culture of the local community into the ballpark and we are excited to work together to bring a unique Miami experience,” Jose Estrada, CEO of RJ Hospitality. “As Miami locals, Recess Sports Lounge is a dream come true for our group. Fans can expect a fun and vibrant experience, with All-Star food, cocktails and entertainment that exude Miami.”
