MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, in partnership with CUB Pharmacy, announced today they will host on-site vaccination opportunities at Target Field for fans attending next week’s May 24-26 home series vs. the Baltimore Orioles. Additionally, all fans 18-and-over who choose to receive the one-dose, Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at Target Field will receive a voucher good for one complimentary ticket to a future Twins regular season home game in 2021.
The Twins’ on-site vaccination opportunity is in support of Governor Tim Walz’ “Roll Up Your Sleeves, Minnesota Fans” campaign. Vaccinations will be available inside Gate 34 at Target Field on May 24, 25 and 26, beginning when gates open and lasting through the seventh inning of all three Twins-Orioles games. The Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25 contests are both set to begin at 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.), while the Wednesday, May 26 series finale starts at 12:10 p.m. (gates open at 10:40 a.m.).
“We are proud of Minnesotans for reaching impressive vaccination numbers, but as summer begins and our ballparks and stadiums beckon, there are more sleeves to be rolled up to keep us safe and healthy,” said Twins President & CEO Dave St. Peter. “The Twins are happy to partner with Governor Tim Walz, our fellow Minnesota sports teams and CUB Pharmacy to offer vaccinations at Target Field before and during our games next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.”
“As the Twin Cities’ hometown grocer and pharmacy provider, we are proud to support the ‘Roll Up Your Sleeves, Minnesota Fans’ initiative at the ballpark with our long-time partners, the Minnesota Twins,” said CUB CEO Mike Stigers. “This is a terrific way to enjoy a Twins baseball game and help get more Minnesotans vaccinated.”
Any fan who chooses to take advantage of these on-site COVID-19 vaccination opportunities at Target Field must fill out a CUB Pharmacy consent form and health questionnaire, available in advance at twinsbaseball.com/vaccine or on-site at the ballpark. The voucher for fans receiving the vaccine is good for one complimentary Home Plate View ticket for any remaining Value or Select game during the 2021 regular season.
