KANSAS CITY, MO – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected the contract of infielder/outfielder Willi Castro and placed the following players on the Injured List: right-handed pitchers Ronny Henriquez (15-day - right elbow inflammation) and Josh Winder (15-day - right shoulder strain), infielder Jorge Polanco (10-day - left knee inflammation), and outfielders Gilberto Celestino (10-day - left thumb surgery) and Alex Kirilloff (10-day - recovering from right wrist surgery). Injury placements are retroactive to March 27.

The Twins 26-man Opening Day roster is now set:
