Twins recall Cody Stashak from Triple-A Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Cody Stashak from Triple-A Rochester and have optioned right-handed pitcher Ryne Harper to Rochester.

Stashak, who will be in his third stint with the Twins this season, has posted a 5-0 record with a 1.44 ERA (25.0 IP, 4 ER) over 14 appearances (2 starts) this season at Triple-A. The right-hander has appeared in six games for the Twins this season, going 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA (8.1 IP, 5 ER), zero walks and nine strikeouts.

To make room for Stashak on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned Ryne Harper to Triple-A Rochester. In 56 games for the Twins this season, Harper went 3-2 with a 3.65 ERA (49.1 IP, 20 ER), nine walks, 45 strikeouts and recorded one save.
