Twins to Host Annual ‘Prince Night’ at Target Field on Thursday, June 13

Fans are invited to join the Twins in celebrating the late musical icon and the 40th anniversary of ‘Purple Rain’ during a festive evening at the ballpark

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – Target Field will turn purple on Thursday, June 13 as the Minnesota Twins celebrate the life and legacy of Prince, and the 40th anniversary of his iconic “Purple Rain” album and film, before and during the club’s 6:40 p.m. home game vs. the Oakland Athletics.

The Twins’ seventh “Prince Night” includes the following two ticket options and corresponding giveaways:

  • Fans who purchase a special, limited-quantity “Prince Night” theme ticket package (available now only at twins.com/Prince) will receive admission to the June 13 Twins-A’s game, along with an exclusive, purple Prince Track Jacket that features the instantly-recognizable “Prince” script on the front, the artist’s “Love Symbol” on the back and zipper, and the Twins script on the left sleeve.
  • The first 5,000 fans through the Target Field gates on Thursday, June 13 will receive a purple Prince baseball hat, featuring the “Prince” script in gold on the front and the artist’s “Love Symbol” under the brim.
