Umpires Announced for 2026 Division Series Presented by Booking.com

Bellino, Hoye, Márquez and Tichenor to Serve as Crew Chiefs in Division Series

Major League Baseball today announced the Major League Umpires who have been assigned to the 2026 Division Series presented by Booking.com. The four Division Series crew chiefs will be Dan Bellino, James Hoye, Alfonso Márquez and Todd Tichenor. 

Bellino will lead the umpires involving the American League East Champion Tampa Bay Rays, the AL’s top seed, hosting the division rival and fourth-seeded New York Yankees. Tichenor’s crew will work the Division Series that features the second seed, the AL Central Champion Cleveland Guardians, hosting the division rival and sixth-seeded Chicago White Sox. 

In the National League, Márquez’s crew will be on the Division Series with the top seed, the NL Central Division Champion Milwaukee Brewers, welcoming the fourth-seeded San Diego Padres.  Hoye’s group will work the matchup featuring the second-seeded NL West Champion Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the NL East Champion and third-seeded Atlanta Braves.

The opening games of all four AL and NL Division Series presented by Booking.com are scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd. Overall, the Division Series is scheduled to run from Saturday, October 3rd through Saturday, October 10th, with potential Game Fives on Friday, October 9th (NLDS) and Saturday (ALDS). FOX or FS1 along with FOX Deportes and FOX One will combine to cover the NLDS, while TNT Sports will simulcast the ALDS on TBS, truTV and HBO MAX. All Postseason games telecast on FOX/FS1 and TNT Sports platforms will be available to MLB.TV subscribers who are authenticated subscribers to the applicable network through a participating pay TV provider.

ESPN Radio will also provide live national coverage of all 2026 MLB Postseason games. MLB Network will air extensive studio coverage throughout the Postseason across the Emmy Award-winning MLB Tonight, the Emmy-nominated MLB Central and MLB Now, and Intentional Talk, MLB Network’s longest-running talk show.

In addition to coverage on FOX Deportes, 2026 Postseason games will also be telecast in Spanish on Universo and Univision, while Univision Radio will provide Spanish language audio coverage. The 2026 Postseason will be distributed by MLB media rightsholders in 16 different languages to fans in more than 200 countries and territories.
