Umpires announced for League Championship Series

Miller and Wegner to serve as crew chiefs in LCS

3:15 PM UTC

Major League Baseball today announced the Major League Umpires who have been assigned to the 2026 League Championship Series. Mark Wegner will be the crew chief for the NLCS, which begins tonight between the host Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/7:00 p.m. (CT) on FOX, FOX One and FOX Deportes. Bill Miller will serve as the crew chief for the ALCS, which begins on Monday featuring the host Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Guardians, beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on TBS, truTV and HBO Max.

Wegner’s crew for the NLCS features Ryan Additon, Edwin Moscoso, regular season crew chief Alan Porter, David Rackley, Chris Segal, and John Tumpane. Miller’s crew for the ALCS includes regular season crew chief Jordan Baker, Nestor Ceja, Chad Fairchild, Adam Hamari, Mark Ripperger, and Carlos Torres.

Porter will serve as the crew chief in Game Two of the NLCS and Baker will serve as crew chief in Game Two of the ALCS when the assigned crew chief is off the field. Placing seven umpires on each LCS crew allows for distinct home plate assignments in a potential seven-game series, with one umpire off the field in each game. Regular season crew chief Lance Barksdale and fellow Major League Umpires Erich Bacchus and Adam Beck have been assigned to Replay throughout the LCS. A complete listing of both LCS rotations accompanies this press release.

FOX or FS1 along with FOX Deportes and FOX One will combine to cover the NLCS, while TNT Sports will simulcast the ALCS on TBS, truTV and HBO MAX. All Postseason games telecast on FOX/FS1 and TNT Sports platforms will be available to MLB.TV subscribers who are authenticated subscribers to the applicable network through a participating pay TV provider.

ESPN Radio will also provide live national coverage of all 2026 MLB Postseason games. MLB Network will air extensive studio coverage throughout the Postseason across the Emmy Award-winning MLB Tonight, the Emmy-nominated MLB Central and MLB Now, and Intentional Talk, MLB Network’s longest-running talk show.

Spanish-language game broadcasts will be available on UniMas for the ALCS and on FOX Deportes for the NLCS. Spanish-language radio broadcasts for all LCS games will be available on Univision’s TUDN Radio. The 2026 Postseason will be distributed by MLB media rightsholders in 16 different languages to fans in more than 200 countries and territories.
