About Walls of Love

Once pregnant and homeless herself within a domestic violence situation, Walls of Love Founder Holly Jackson knows first-hand how defeated and lonely it can feel to be without a home and lacking hope.

Despite her own personal struggles, Holly overcame homelessness and poverty.

In November 2018, Holly started the Walls of Love campaign to give back to her local community in Cleveland, Ohio and the surrounding neighborhoods by hanging necessities and winter gear on walls within regions of poverty. Through Walls of Love, hundreds of volunteers throughout the region have gathered within schools, churches and community centers to package items for future walls and connect to their neighbors in need. Walls of Love’s mission is simple but powerful, it is to spread love in the community to support those in need without stigma. In the organization's short existence, over 999 Walls of Love have been placed helping over 325,000 individuals. Walls of Love are currently throughout: Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, Alaska, Virginia, Arkansas, Maryland, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, South Carolina, Missouri and are upcoming in: California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Vermont, Arizona, and Canada.

Holly’s goal is to see Walls of Love continuously develop in cities throughout the United States, touching the lives of as many individuals in need as she possibly can. Walls of Love has been featured in the December 30, 2019 edition of Woman’s World Magazine, Houstonia Magazine, The Washington Post, on Nick Cannon’s Morning Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Hoda and Jenna, and on news outlets including CNN, WKYC, Fox 8, Channel 5 News and the Today Show.
