The Chicago White Sox have completed the second day (rounds 3-10) of the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, selecting five pitchers (three right-handers and two left-handers), two outfielders and one catcher.

The White Sox last night selected shortstop Jacob Gonzalez from the University of Mississippi with the organization’s first pick (15th overall) and right-handed pitcher Grant Taylor from Louisiana State University with their second pick (51st).

The 2023 draft (rounds 11-20) will conclude tomorrow, beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT.
