White Sox announce two roster moves

CHICAGO – Prior to tonight’s series opener vs. Toronto, the Chicago White Sox recalled outfielder Oscar Colás from Class AAA Charlotte and optioned outfielder Clint Frazier to Charlotte.

Colás is hitting .293/.358/.508 (56-191) with 14 doubles, nine home runs, 29 RBI, 35 runs scored, 18 walks and .866 OPS in 48 games this season with the Knights. He has hit safely in his last eight games from June 22-30, going 13-33 (.394) with six home runs, eight RBI, five multihit efforts and a 1.382 OPS. Colás made the White Sox Opening Day roster and appeared in 25 games, hitting .211 (16-76) with a homer and seven RBI.

Frazier is batting .197 (13-66) with three RBI and 10 runs scored in 33 games with Chicago after signing as a free agent on April 28.
