CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox have recalled right-handed pitcher Alex McRae to serve as the 27th man for today’s split doubleheader vs. Kansas City.

McRae, 28, worked 1.0 scoreless IP with a strikeout in his only appearance of the season on May 4 at Cincinnati. He has appeared in one game with Charlotte this season, allowing one run in 0.1 IP.
