CLEVELAND – Prior to Game 2 of today’s doubleheader at Cleveland, the Chicago White Sox reinstated outfielder Andrew Vaughn from the 10-day injured list and optioned left-handed pitcher Jace Fry to Class AAA Charlotte.

Vaughn, 23, has been on the injured list since September 14 with lower back inflammation. He is hitting .240/.314/.409 (95-396) with 22 doubles, 15 home runs, 45 RBI and 54 runs scored in 120 games in 2021.

Fry, 28, is 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA (8 ER/6.2 IP) in six relief appearances with the White Sox this season.
