ATLANTA – Prior to tonight’s series opener at Atlanta, the Chicago White Sox reinstated right-handed pitcher Michael Kopech from the 15-day injured list. Kopech is scheduled to start tonight’s game against the Braves.

Kopech, who has not pitched since June 27 at the Angels, has been on the injured list since June 29 with right shoulder inflammation. He is 3-7 with a 4.08 ERA (39 ER/86.0 IP), 97 strikeouts (10.15 per 9.0 IP) and .217 (68-313) opponents average in 16 starts this season.
