Following the second game of today’s straight doubleheader vs. Houston, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher José Ruiz to Class AAA Charlotte.

Ruiz, 24, is 1-2 with a 5.45 ERA (20 ER/33.0 IP), 28 strikeouts and one hold in 34 relief appearances with the White Sox this season.

With the move, the White Sox active roster returns to 25.
