BOSTON, MA – The Red Sox wives, led by Tiffany Price, are partnering with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston to help build homes this baseball season and raise $30,000 for the non-profit organization dedicated to building low-cost homes for families in need of affordable housing. To meet their fundraising goal, the wives will collect donations at Fenway Park Gates starting tomorrow, May 11, from the time gates open through the 2nd inning.

This month, the Red Sox wives will begin the first of six build dates in Balina Place in Dorchester, with the final build date taking place in September. The idea to partner with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston came from Tiffany Price who was inspired to do more for the charity after helping the organization build a home last year.

“I wanted to work with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston because it’s an organization that embodies teamwork,” said Tiffany Price. “They understand that a little help from a lot of people in the community literally makes a home. The organization helped us see the power of what we can do together, and I’m so excited to be working with them again this year.”

In addition to helping build homes throughout the summer, the wives are raising funds to support future building projects with a goal of reaching $30,000 by September 27. Donations to help support the effort can be made on the Greater Boston Habitat for Humanity website.

The wives will also be raising funds at the ballpark once a month for the next five months, beginning tomorrow, May 11. A table will be set up inside Fenway Park Gates A & D from the time gates open through the 2nd inning. Tables will also be set up on the following dates: June 22, July 16, August 18, and September 7.

“What you can do is never too small when everyone participates,” said Price. “When we worked together last year, we didn’t just build a home, we built character and friendships. I’m looking forward to seeing what more we will build together this year.”
