Texas Rangers establish Championship Corner at Globe Life Field

Commissioner’s Trophy to be on display in Globe Life Field’s Championship Corner for select games this season; 250 fans per game will be allowed photo opportunities alongside the trophy

Arlington, Texas— The 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers beginning today will display the Commissioner’s Trophy at Globe Life Field for select games during the 2024 season as part of the Rangers World Championship Trophy Tour, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts.

Championship Corner, located in the northwest corner of the ballpark behind Section 101, will provide Rangers fans with an opportunity to take photos alongside Major League Baseball’s iconic sterling silver and gold World Series trophy. Photo opportunities will be available to the first 250 fans from the time gates open until the first pitch.

The schedule for Championship Corner features several games in the Rangers regular-season, with most falling on Monday evenings and select dates with Postseason-themed fan giveaways.

  • Monday, April 8 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros
  • Wednesday, April 10 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Oakland A’s
  • Monday, May 13 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Cleveland Guardians
  • Tuesday, May 14 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Cleveland Guardians
  • Monday, July 22 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Chicago White Sox
  • Monday, August 5 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros
  • Monday, August 19 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
  • Monday, September 2 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. New York Yankees
  • Sunday, September 22 – 7:05 p.m. – Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners

Championship Corner is a key element of the Texas Rangers World Championship Trophy Tour, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, allowing fans at Globe Life Field to share in celebrating the club’s first World Series title.

The traveling portion of the trophy tour kicked off last week with the Texas Rangers HBCU Trophy Tour, which included stops at Texas Southern, Huston-Tillotson, and Prairie View A&M Universities and will continue throughout the year as the trophy visits select cities across the Texas Rangers territory and club’s East Coast Minor League affiliates.
