ROOT SPORTS Northwest and 710 ESPN Seattle will combine to provide complete coverage of the Seattle Mariners 2019 Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona, including Cactus League games as well as other special programming.

ROOT SPORTS Northwest and 710 ESPN Seattle will combine to provide complete coverage of the Seattle Mariners 2019 Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona, including Cactus League games as well as other special programming. 

On the radio, 710 ESPN will air 20 spring games beginning with the first Cactus League game on Thursday, February 21, against the Oakland Athletics at Mesa-Hohokam Park (12:10 p.m. PST). Audio from all radio games, even those that will be aired on a delayed basis, will be available live, at no charge, on Mariners.com (game feed is free, but MLB.com registration is required).

In addition to carrying games, 710 ESPN will air the "Cactus League Report" live on Tuesdays beginning February 26.

ROOT SPORTS will air 14 Cactus League games beginning with the Friday, February 22 game when the Mariners meet the Oakland A's at the Peoria Sports Complex (12:10 p.m. PST).

Mariners Mondays is airing on ROOT SPORTS every Monday through the month of March. Upcoming programs feature interviews with new Mariners players Mallex Smith, J.P. Crawford and Justus Sheffield, as well as returning All-Star outfielder Mitch Haniger and pitcher Marco Gonzales.

Mariners pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training on February 11, position players report on February 15, and the first full-squad workout is scheduled for February 16. The early reporting dates are due to the Mariners March 14 departure for Tokyo to meet the Oakland A's to open the Major League Baseball season at the Tokyo Dome on March 20.

While the team is in Japan, a squad of players in Mariners Major League camp who are not part of the Japan travelling party, including top prospects, will remain in Arizona for three games (March 19 at Chicago Cubs, March 21 vs. Cincinnati Reds, and March 22, vs. Los Angeles Angels).
