The Kansas City Royals are announcing the creation of the final two murals of the Raised Royal Mural Program. The fifth mural will be located at Kaunstraum Studio, and the sixth and final mural is being painted on the side of Sweet Siam Thai Restaurant in Westport.
The Raised Royal Mural Program was created as a part of the 2017 Royals marketing campaign and has given local artists the opportunity to create murals depicting their interpretation of what it means to be "Raised Royal." 
"Our Raised Royal Mural Program has been successful as it has allowed local artists to visibly display their relationship with our baseball club," said Mike Bucek, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. "We're pleased with the creativity and how our passionate fans have responded to these long-lasting tributes. The Club is excited to see the completion of the program with the final two murals and congratulates all of the participating artists for their great work"
Artist Lance Flores was commissioned to paint the fifth mural, which will be started and completed September 8-11. This mural will be on the side of Kaunstraum Studio, located at 1523 Oak St., Kansas City Mo. 64108.
Carpenter Collective, the design studio of Jessica and Tad Carpenter, was selected to paint the final mural. Production began last week. Westport was selected as the location of the mural with the help of the Westport Regional Business League. 
"Westport is thrilled to partner with the Royals to add another eclectic outdoor element to our unique neighborhood," said Tia Simpson, Marketing Manager for the business league. "Special thanks to Sweet Siam Thai Restaurant for allowing the mural to be painted on their south wall. We are excited for the finished product!" 
The restaurant is located at 4130 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Mo. 64111. The mural is expected to be completed during the Westport Art Festival, September 8-10.  
Four other murals were previously completed and are located throughout Kansas City, Mo. The design for the Raised Royal Fan Express Bus was also created by a local artist as a part of the program.
