San Francisco's Webb suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that San Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb, a 40-man roster player who is currently on the roster of Double-A Richmond of the Eastern League, has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone (DHCMT), a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The 80-game suspension of Webb is effective immediately.
