The Texas Rangers today announced the club's 2017 full promotions schedule, which will include the pre-game ceremony to retire the uniform No. 7 of new National Baseball Hall of Fame member Ivan Rodriguez on Saturday, August 12 prior to the Rangers-Astros game. The club also announced its 2017 individual game ticket specials.
Individual tickets for all 2017 games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, except the home opener on Monday, April 3 will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3 at the Globe Life Park in Arlington First Base Box Office, at texasrangers.com, and by phone at 972.RANGERS. Information on a ticket registration offer for the Rangers' home opener is listed below.
For the fourth consecutive year, Dynamic ticket pricing will be utilized in all individual seating categories for all games. In partnership with Qcue, the leading provider of demand-based pricing software for live entertainment events, the Rangers will once again use Qcue's software analysis to set and adjust ticket prices higher or lower for each game in real-time based on market demand and factors such as pitching matchups, team performance, opponent, weather, and day of week. Dynamic ticket pricing will apply for all tickets except Children's tickets in the Upper Reserved category. 
For 2017, the Rangers will utilize dynamic pricing for three different levels of games: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. A full list of the games in each level as well as the starting ticket price in all seating categories can be found on texasrangers.com/tickets. Pricing will vary based on dynamic pricing for individual ticket sales in all adult seating categories.
Home Opener Online Ticket Opportunity
The Rangers are offering an on-line registration opportunity that will allow fans the chance to purchase tickets to the 2017 Season and Home Opener on Monday, April 3 against the Cleveland Indians, a 6:05 p.m. start. From now until Monday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m., fans can go to texasrangers.com/OpeningDay and sign up to receive Texas Rangers emails. From all fans who sign up for the emails, a pool of randomly selected registrants will be chosen and provided access to an online Home Opener opportunity, based on available inventory. Those selected will be notified by email no later than Wednesday, March 8. A limited number of reserved seats, obstructed view seating, and standing room only tickets will be included in the ticket opportunity. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. This will be the only chance for fans to purchase single game tickets for the home opener at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
