Rangers to donate proceeds of Monday's 50/50 raffle to Hurricane Maria relief

he Texas Rangers announced today that the club will donate the proceeds from its Texas 2 Split 50/50 Raffle for the Monday, September 25 game with the Houston Astros for relief for the victims in in Puerto Rico from the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria. The Rangers and Astros open their three-game series at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Arlington, Texas -The Texas Rangers announced today that the club will donate the proceeds from its Texas 2 Split 50/50 Raffle for the Monday, September 25 game with the Houston Astros for relief for the victims in in Puerto Rico from the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria. The Rangers and Astros open their three-game series at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
The funds will be donated to United for Puerto Rico-Unidos por Puerto Rico, the charity in which Hall of Fame catcher and native of Puerto Rico Ivan Rodriguez is involved.
"The thoughts of the Texas Rangers organization are with all the individuals in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean who have been affected by this devastating hurricane," commented Texas Rangers Foundation Chairman and Rangers Ownership Committee Chairman Neil Leibman. "We pray for their safety and are honored to be assisting Pudge Rodriguez in his outstanding humanitarian efforts."
