30 of 32 Twins Spring Training games to be broadcast on variety of free platforms in 2025

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with partners Major League Baseball, Audacy’s 830 WCCO (WCCO-AM) and 102.9 The Wolf (KMNB-FM), and the Treasure Island Baseball Network (TIBN), announced a comprehensive 2025 spring training broadcast schedule that delivers FREE access to 30 of the club’s 32 Grapefruit League games.

Fans can create a FREE account to access 18 live games on the MLB.TV direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming platform. Five of those games will be Twins-centric broadcasts fully produced by Twins.TV, with the MLB.TV app providing access to an additional 12 Twins games via the opposing teams’ broadcast (plus the Spring Breakout prospect game). There will be 20 audio broadcasts produced by the Treasure Island Baseball Network; 14 will be carried in the Twin Cities on 830 WCCO (and simulcast on 102.9 The Wolf), while all 20 TIBN broadcasts will be streamed, live and free of charge, via the Audacy app, smart speakers and website within a geofence that expands across the Upper Midwest.

Additionally, MLB Network – which is available on linear television via select cable and satellite providers – will pick up Twins’ or opponents’ broadcasts of three Grapefruit League contests and provide exclusive coverage of the Twins’ Spring Breakout minor league prospect game vs. Toronto on March 15.

All 30 broadcasts will originate on-site from ballparks in Florida. Every Twins-produced broadcast will feature exclusive live interviews of players, on-field personnel or front office staff as the club prepares for the 2025 season.

Twins.TV and MLB.TV DTC Telecasts

Twins.TV debuts on Sunday, March 16, when the Twins host the Boston Red Sox at Lee Health Sports Complex. Three-time Minnesota Sportscaster of the Year Cory Provus is the play-by-play voice for Twins.TV; he will be joined in the spring booth by Twins Hall of Famer Justin Morneau (2 games) and former Twins All-Star closer Glen Perkins (3).

Registering for a free MLB account is all that is required for the five Twins.TV DTC spring training telecasts, which also include March 20 (vs. Boston), March 22 (vs. Toronto), March 24 (vs. Pittsburgh) and March 25 (vs. Colorado). Registering for a free account will also provide access to the opposing teams’ telecasts of 12 additional Twins spring road games, live on the MLB.TV DTC streaming platform: vs. Pittsburgh (February 23 & March 17), Detroit (February 26), Boston (March 1 & 23), Atlanta (March 4 and 15), New York-AL (March 6), Tampa Bay (March 7), Toronto (March 11) and Philadelphia (March 21).

A Twins.TV yearly streaming subscription – which includes in-market, blackout-free, live or on-demand access to every Twins regular season game that is not chosen for an exclusive national broadcast (approximately 151 in 2025) – is available now at twins.tv for $99.99, or less than $1 per game. Treasure Island Baseball Network Audio Broadcasts

The Treasure Island Baseball Network’s 20 games (14 on radio and live stream, 6 exclusively on the Audacy app) will feature a combination of Twins radio play-by-play voice Kris Atteberry, Twins Hall of Famer Dan Gladden, National Baseball Hall of Famer Paul Molitor and longtime St. Paul Saints play-by-play voice Sean Aronson. Audacy’s 830 WCCO and 102.9 The Wolf begin their 14-game radio schedule with the Grapefruit League opener this Saturday, February 22 as the Twins host Atlanta at Lee Health Sports Complex.
