Twins recall Duffey from Triple-A Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Tyler Duffey from Triple-A Rochester.

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Tyler Duffey from Triple-A Rochester. Duffey has gone 3-1 with a 1.50 ERA (24.0 IP, 4 ER), seven walks and 25 strikeouts in 10 games for the Red Wings this season. Additionally, he has appeared in three games for the Twins.
To make room on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned right-handed pitcher Aaron Slegers to Rochester. Slegers, who was recalled yesterday prior to the Twins game in Kansas City, pitched 5.1 relief innings last night, allowing two runs on six hits.
