Twins select contract OF Matt Magill

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Matt Magill from Triple-A Rochester.
Magill, 28, began season with Triple-A Rochester and tossed 8.2 scoreless innings with five hits allowed, two walks and 13 strikeouts in five appearances and was 2-for-2 in save opportunities. Magill has 11 career appearances in the majors (6 starts) going 0-2, 6.47 ERA (32.0 IP, 23 ER) with 33 walks and 27 strikeouts between the Dodgers (2013) and Reds (2016).
