Twins Swing for the Kids Classic

April 10th, 2019

The Minnesota Twins today announced details for the event of the summer: The inaugural Swing for the Kids Classic presented by Caribou Coffee, to be held Monday, June 10th from 5 to 9 p.m. at Topgolf Minneapolis (6420 N. Camden Ave. in Brooklyn Center). Whether you have a golf handicap of 3 or 33, you’ll have a great time hanging out with the entire 2019 Twins roster, along with coaches, alumni and broadcasters, all while playing to change the lives of kids and families in Twins Territory.

Golf bay tickets at various levels are available – while space remains – by visiting twinsbaseball.com/SwingfortheKids. All bay tickets, each of which allow for groups of five (5) or six (6), include three hours of Topgolf play, food, drink, and photo opportunities with Twins players and coaches. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Twins Community Fund, which works every day to change lives through baseball and softball.

“Some of the most essential work our organization engages in are the efforts of the Minnesota Twins Community Fund to effect tangible, positive and lifelong change in our communities through baseball and softball – especially for the children of Twins Territory,” said Laura Day, Twins Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer and Twins Community Fund board member. “The Twins are excited to invite the public to join our players, coaches and staff in this cause for an evening of golf, fun and – most importantly – philanthropy.”

Open since September 2018, the new Topgolf Minneapolis is a 65,000-square-foot, three-level entertainment center that provides a win-win environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. Featuring 102 climate-controlled golf bays, a lounge where guests can play pool, shuffleboard and Xbox Kinect, plus more than 200 high-definition televisions, a full-service restaurant and several bars, an outing at Topgolf offers something for everyone – especially Twins fans!

The Twins thank Swing for the Kids presenting sponsor Caribou Coffee, as well as silver sponsor Nike.
