LOS ANGELES -- Viva Los Dodgers presented by Spectrum and Coca-Cola, now in its ninth season, will kick off this Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. (auto gates open at 2:35 p.m.) prior to the 5:05 p.m. game against the Washington Nationals. The family-friendly event will celebrate Mexico and will feature live music, interactive games, and autograph sessions at the iconic 76 Station in Lot 6.

As part of the festivities, fans will have a chance to receive an autograph from legendary Dodger coach Manny Mota starting at 3:00 p.m. Mota is currently in his 50th season with the Dodgers and is the longest tenured coach in Los Angeles Dodgers' history. Performing live on the Viva Los Dodgers stage will be Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, an ensemble made up of five generations of musicians that have played sold out halls from New York's Lincoln Center to Viña del Mar in Santiago, Chile. Also as part of the entertainment, DJ Malski will be mixing live and Ballet Folklorico LA will showcase a variety of traditional Mexican dances.

In celebration of Earth Day Sunday, City Plants and LADWP will also be at Viva Los Dodgers signing up LA residents for free home delivery of shade trees. Trees shade buildings from the hot sun, making it easier for air conditioning systems to cool homes, and saving energy.

Viva Los Dodgers takes place on the last Sunday of every month two hours prior to the game. In addition to Spectrum and Coca-Cola, Dodgers partners 76, Calpico, Welk Resorts and Your SoCal Honda Dealers will also take part in this this season-long Dodger initiative celebrating Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latino Dodgers past and present. Each of these family friendly festivals includes a theme and is free with a game-day ticket. Player appearances and talent additions will be announced throughout the season. Appearances at Viva Los Dodgers last season included current Dodgers Kiké Hernández and Yasiel Puig, as well as Dodger broadcasters Jaime Jarrín, Jorge Jarrín, Fernando Valenzuela and Pepe Yñiguez. Viva Los Dodgers culminates with La Gran Fiesta Viva Los Dodgers on Saturday, September 22.
