The Chicago White Sox have added right-handed pitcher Carson Fulmer from Class AAA Charlotte to serve as the 26th man on the active roster for today's doubleheader vs. Minnesota.

The Chicago White Sox have added right-handed pitcher Carson Fulmer from Class AAA Charlotte to serve as the 26th man on the active roster for today's doubleheader vs. Minnesota.
Fulmer, the No. 11 prospect in the White Sox organization according to MLB.com, is scheduled to start the second game tonight against the Twins.
The 23-year-old Fulmer is 7-8 with a 5.61 ERA (76 ER/122.0 IP) and 95 strikeouts over 24 starts this season with Charlotte. Fulmer, 6-foot and 195 pounds, made eight appearances with the Sox last season in his major-league debut, going 0-2 with an 8.49 ERA (11 ER/11.2 IP) and 10 strikeouts.
Fulmer originally was selected by the White Sox in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft out of Vanderbilt University. He was named to the All-Star Futures Game in 2016.
