The Chicago White Sox have announced highlights, giveaways and pregame entertainment for the upcoming Crosstown Cup series vs. the Chicago Cubs.
 
Monday, July 25, 7:10 p.m. vs. the Chicago Cubs
White Sox great Paul Konerko will throw a ceremonial first pitch. The six-time All-Star played with the Chicago White Sox from 1999-2014. He is one of 36 players in major-league history to record 400 career doubles and 400 home runs. Konerko holds the White Sox record with 13 seasons of 20 or more home runs and is one of two players in Sox history to hit 40 home runs in back-to-back seasons. He ranks second among franchise leaders in home runs and RBI and third in hits, doubles and games played.
 
Goo Goo Dolls lead singer John Rzeznik will perform a pregame Rock the Sox acoustic set and the National Anthem. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:15 p.m. to see the Rock the Sox acoustic set. The Goo Goo Dolls are a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated American rock band that has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. After nearly 30 years, they have released 11 albums and had 14 top radio hits, including "Name," "Slide" and "Iris." Their newest single was released in April on the White Sox home opener, when Rzeznik performed the National Anthem. The band's newest album, "Boxes," is available for purchase at googoodolls.com.
 
ChiSox Bar & Grill and remote parking lots at Illinois Institute of Technology (35th and State) open at 3 p.m. Free shuttle service will be available from remote parking lots. White Sox parking lots will open at approximately 4 p.m. Gates will open at approximately 5:10 p.m.

Fans are reminded that the first pitch for the Crosstown Cup on Tuesday, July 26 is 6:10 p.m. ChiSox Bar & Grill and remote parking lots at Illinois Institute of Technology (35th and State) open at 2 p.m. Free shuttle service will be available from remote parking lots. White Sox parking lots will open at approximately 3 p.m. Gates will open at approximately 4:10 p.m. Additional information about the ceremonial first pitch and other pregame entertainment will be announced at a later time.
 
White Sox fans attending Crosstown Cup games at U.S. Cellular Field are encouraged to arrive early as gates will open two hours prior to first pitch to allow ample time for entry into the ballpark.
