White Sox announce new 2019 promotional dates

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox announced additional promotional dates for upcoming games at Guaranteed Rate Field in 2019, including an Eloy Jiménez First MLB Home Run Bobblehead, presented by Guaranteed Rate, on August 10 vs. Oakland, for the first 20,000 fans who enter the ballpark. The giveaway commemorates Jiménez hitting his first major league home run on April 12 vs. the New York Yankees.

Additional giveaways include:

  • White Sox Beer Stein, presented by Budweiser, on August 24 vs. Texas (first 10,000 fans over the age of 21 who enter the ballpark).
  • White Sox Replica Home Run Chain on September 7 vs. the Los Angeles Angels (first 15,000 fans who enter the ballpark).
  • White Sox Irish Flat Cap in celebration of Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day on September 28 vs. Detroit (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark).

The White Sox also unveiled designs for the remaining Free T-Shirt Thursdays, including exclusive artwork created by local Chicago artists Anthony Lewellen (@antckone) and Sam Kirk (@iamsamkirk):

  • Patriotic-themed White Sox T-Shirt on July 4 vs. Detroit (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark).
  • Police and Fire Night themed T-Shirt, presented by UL, on August 22 vs. Texas (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark).
  • Southside-themed T-Shirt on August 29 vs. Minnesota (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark). This shirt was designed by local Chicago artist Anthony Lewellen (@antckone, curated by All Star Press Chicago).
  • Xicágo White Sox T-Shirt, presented by Budweiser, on September 12 vs. Kansas City (first 10,000 fans over the age of 21 who enter the ballpark). This shirt was designed by local Chicago artist Sam Kirk (@iamsamkirk).
