Following Friday night's game at Seattle, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Ryan LaMarre to Class AAA Charlotte.
LaMarre, 29, has gone 2-8 (.250) in two games with the White Sox since being claimed off waivers from Minnesota on July 11. He batted .263 (26-99) in 43 games over four stints with the Twins this season before being designated for assignment on July 2.
The Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to Saturday night's game against the Mariners.
