White Sox return Fulmer to Triple-A Charlotte; option Goldberg

Following the second game of tonight's doubleheader vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Carson Fulmer to Class AAA Charlotte and optioned right-hander Brad Goldberg to Charlotte.

CHICAGO - Following the second game of tonight's doubleheader vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Carson Fulmer to Class AAA Charlotte and optioned right-hander Brad Goldberg to Charlotte.
Fulmer, 23, served as the 26th man on the active roster for tonight's doubleheader. He made his first major-league start in the second game, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks over 1.1 IP of a losing effort.
Goldberg, 27, is 0-0 with a 8.25 ERA (11 ER/12.0 IP) in 11 appearances over two stints with the White Sox this season.
To take Goldberg's spot on the roster, the White Sox will make a corresponding move prior to tomorrow's game against the Twins.
