CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox have traded infielder Tyler Saladino to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations.

Saladino, 28, appeared in six games (three starts) with the White Sox this season, going 2-8 (.250) with a double and two runs scored.

He is a .231 (184-795) hitter with 12 home runs, 68 RBI and 91 runs scored in 246 games over four seasons with the Sox (2015-18) after being selected in the seventh round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft.
