Earlier today, the Yankees acquired 1B Ryan McBroom from Toronto in exchange for INF/OF Rob Refsnyder.
 
McBroom, 25, batted .243 (84-for-346) with 45 R, 19 doubles, 12 HR and 54 RBI in 96 games with Double-A New Hampshire this season. Off left-handed pitching, he hit .316/.413/.500 (24-for-76) with 5 doubles and 3 HR.
 
Over four minor league seasons, the right-handed batter has hit .280/.343/.459 (442-for-1,577) with 107 doubles, 57 HR and 288 RBI in 421 games.
 
The Fredericksburg, Va., native was originally selected by the Blue Jays in the 15th round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft out of West Virginia University. He will be assigned to Double-A Trenton.
