Running in one of the most iconic venues in sports, participants will navigate a route that includes Yankee Stadium’s concourses, ramps and the outfield warning track before reaching a picturesque finish line in the Great Hall.
Most of the route is covered, and the race will take place rain or shine. Racers may enter the Stadium as early as 7:30 a.m. via the Great Hall entrance of Yankee Stadium along E. 161st Street.
All runners will receive personalized, chip-enabled bibs to ensure accurate statistics. Timing mats will be placed throughout the course, and results will be available online following the event. Runners should note that bags will not be permitted inside Yankee Stadium, however fanny packs will be allowed (Specifications are noted on the registration page.).
All participants will also receive a race medal and a Yankees Pinstripe 5K long sleeve T-shirt.
Friends and family are welcome at the event to cheer on participants, and there is no fee for spectator attendance. Beginning at 8:30 a.m., spectators can enter Yankee Stadium via the Suite Entrance, which is located adjacent to Gate 4 at the corner of E. 161st Street and Jerome Avenue. Please note that this is a separate location from where racers will enter the building. To ensure a smooth flow for the runners, spectators will view the race from the Delta SKY360° Lounge on the 200 Level of Yankee Stadium and cannot line the sides of the course. Spectators will be allowed to bring in bags in accordance with the Yankee Stadium Entry and Carry-In Policy.
Virtual participation is available for fans who live outside the metro-New York area and for those who prefer to run the 5K at a time that better fits their schedules. All virtual participants will receive a bib, T-shirt and medal.
