Began the year with the Cincinnati organization and logged three outings for the Reds in the Cactus League, but was placed on the 60-day IL on April 21 (right shoulder strain) and did not make an official in-season appearance…Released on Nov. 4…Made 24 appearances for Guasave of the Mexican Pacific Winter League, posting a 1.57 ERA (four ER/23.0 IP) with 33 strikeouts and five walks.

Saw bulk of action with the Independent Milwaukee Milkmen of the American Association, where he registered a 1.38 ERA (six ER/39.0 IP) over 37 relief appearances…Signed as a Minor League free agent with the Cincinnati Reds organization on Dec. 23…Also saw action with Guasave in the Mexican Winter League, allowing three runs, none earned (0.00 ERA) in 26 games/25.0 innings pitched.

Released by the Royals on July 16 and latched on with the independent Milwaukee Milkmen for his second stint with the club (also 2020), owning a 2-0 record and 1.20 ERA over 15 relief outings…Fanned 22 batters while walking just seven and not allowing a home run…Made seven appearances with Obregon of the Mexican Winter League in the 2022-23 offseason.
2021
Signed with Kansas City as a Minor League free agent on Sept. 29, 2020, logging a 2.80 ERA (14 ER/45.0 IP) with 71 strikeouts and 23 walks in 24 appearances with three different affiliates in the Royals organization: Northwest Arkansas (AA), Quad City (A+) and Columbia (A)…Notched seven saves to rank tied for fourth among Royals farmhands.

While pitching for Milwaukee of the Independent American Association, recorded 32.0 scoreless frames spanning 30 relief appearances, finishing the campaign with a 0.00 ERA (0 R, 10 H, 14 BB, one IBB, 56 K, 0.750 WHIP, 15.8 SO/9)…This after he was released by the Colorado organization on Feb. 19.

Suffered a shoulder injury during Spring Training with Rockies, which limited him to just two appearances in July with Grand Junction (Rk. Adv.) and Boise (A-).
