Guardians' home opener sold out; monthly pass launched

March 21st, 2023

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- It’s official: Cleveland’s home opener on April 7 against the Mariners at 4:10 p.m. ET is sold out.

The Guardians announced the sellout on Tuesday morning. Since Progressive Field (then Jacobs Field) was opened in 1994, the club has sold out every home opener, totaling 30 straight seasons.

Tuesday’s announcement came with more news. The Guardians also launched the 2023 Ballpark Pass. For $49 per month, fans can attend any Guardians home game (which would include the home opener on April 7) with a standing-room-only ticket. Those with standing-room-only tickets can be at The Corner bar, the left- or right-field drink rails, the Home Run Porch and Heritage Plaza.

More information about the monthly pass can be found at CLEGuardians.com/BallparkPass.

As a reminder, anyone attending a game at Progressive Field must have a mobile ticket. Paper tickets, PDFs and screenshots are no longer accepted for entry. The Guardians encourage fans to access their tickets before arriving at the ballpark and add them to their Apple Wallet if they have an Apple device to avoid connection issues.
