Devers, who was expected to play third base on Thursday, is still experiencing lingering discomfort in his left knee and will remain at DH at least until Saturday, per manager Alex Cora.

Thomas was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with an MCL sprain in his left knee.

After his three-inning start in Arizona, Williams experienced the same soreness in the back of his right elbow that shut him down during Spring Training. He flew to Cleveland to meet with the medical staff and received external opinions. It was determined that receiving an anti-inflammatory injection on Wednesday would be the best path forward.
