Freddie Freeman, Miguel Rojas, Shohei Ohtani, Roki Sasaki and Edwin Díaz, Dodgers

Freeman is dealing with ongoing right knee soreness stemming from patellar tendinitis. He expects to be held out of the lineup on Sept. 14 but the team is not currently considering an IL stint.

Rojas left the Dodgers' Sept. 13 game with right shoulder pain after overextending his arm diving for a ground ball. He will receive treatment on Sept. 14 before the Dodgers determine his availability for the rest of the season.

Ohtani (left knee and right biceps soreness) could resume swinging the bat as early as Sept. 14 or 15, per manager Dave Roberts. He has continued to work out and receive treatment.

Sasaki (right middle finger blister) will most likely return during the Dodgers' Sept. 18-20 series against the Giants.

Díaz (neck inflammation) will need at least one more rehab outing before the Dodgers consider activating him, as of a Sept. 13 update.

Seigler was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 13 with a right wrist injury. He is still undergoing testing.

Buxton will undergo season-ending arthroscopic hip surgery on Sept. 18.

Walls (right hip flexor strain) took grounders pregame on Sept. 11-13.

Connelly Early, Nationals

Early (left elbow inflammation) was scheduled for a rehab appearance with Double-A Harrisburg on Sept. 13, but the game was rained out.

Gage Jump and Luis Severino, Athletics

Jump left his Sept. 12 start after two innings with a left shoulder impingement. He is likely headed to the injured list, a move that would end his season, although the A's do not expect to make a decision until Sept. 15.

Severino (right shoulder strain) had a successful bullpen session on Sept. 12. A 2026 return is off the table, but he expects to have a normal offseason.
