Cody Ponce, Trey Yesavage, José Berríos, Shane Bieber and Yimi García, Blue Jays
Ponce was carted off the field on March 30 after suffering a right knee injury while attempting to field a ground ball in his Blue Jays debut. On March 31, Ponce was diagnosed with a right ACL sprain. He continues to be evaluated by doctors and is expected to miss significant time.
Yesavage (right shoulder impingement) is expected to throw around three innings and 45 pitches in a simulated game on April 3.
Berríos (right elbow stress fracture) was scheduled to throw a bullpen on March 31 and then is expected to throw a live BP on April 4.
Bieber (right elbow inflammation) is scheduled to throw off a mound for the first time on April 4, which will begin his ramp-up process.
García (right elbow surgery) threw 22 pitches on March 27 in Dunedin and will continue to ramp up.
Chase DeLauter and Hunter Gaddis, Guardians
DeLauter exited in the bottom of the first inning on March 31 after fouling a pitch off his left foot/ankle area in the top of the first inning against the Dodgers. The Guardians did not immediately have information on DeLauter’s injury.
Gaddis (right forearm strain) threw scoreless inning (13 pitches) in second rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus on March 31.
Seiya Suzuki, Cubs
Suzuki (minor PCL sprain in right knee) is expected to begin a Minor League rehab assignment during the Cubs' upcoming road trip (April 3-8).
Carlos Rodón, Gerrit Cole and Anthony Volpe, Yankees
Rodón, currently recovering from offseason left elbow surgery, experienced right hamstring tightness March 31 while going through his workout program, manager Aaron Boone said.
Cole will throw in game situations (and in the Minor Leagues) over the next several weeks, including one "up" of live batting practice on April 1.
Volpe (left shoulder surgery recovery) has been hitting off a Trajekt machine and could advance to live at-bats in Tampa, Fla., on or around April 1. He is participating in all defensive and baserunning drills.
Zach Eflin and Jackson Holliday, Orioles
Eflin left his 2026 debut against the Rangers on March 31 in the fourth inning with right elbow discomfort. He is set to undergo imaging on April 1, and a stint on the injured list is "more than likely," manager Craig Albernaz said.
Holliday (right hamate surgery) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk on March 27.
Zack Wheeler and Orion Kerkering, Phillies
Wheeler (right upper extremity blood clot) tossed three scoreless innings and struck out three on 38 pitches in a rehab start at Triple-A Lehigh Valley on March 28.
Kerkering (Grade 1 right hamstring strain) replaced Wheeler to start the fourth inning during their March 28 game at Triple-A and threw a perfect inning on 10 pitches.
Spencer Strider and Sean Murphy, Braves
Strider (left oblique strain) is expected to be back sooner rather than later and is eligible to return as early as April 6.
Murphy (right hip labral tear) is doing all baseball activities and could begin a rehab assignment soon.
Ronel Blanco, Hayden Wesneski, Nate Pearson, Bennett Sousa and Enyel De Los Santos, Astros
Blanco (torn right UCL), Wesneski (torn right UCL) and Pearson (right elbow surgery) have all progressed to throwing in the bullpen at the Astros' Spring Training facility.
Sousa (left oblique strain) threw in the bullpen at Daikin Park prior to Houston's March 30 game against the Red Sox.
De Los Santos (right knee strain) made his second rehab appearance March 29 for Triple-A Sugar Land, throwing 1 1/3 scoreless innings on 19 pitches.
Andrew Vaughn, Quinn Priester and Jackson Chourio, Brewers
Vaughn (fractured left hamate bone) underwent surgery on March 30, and the hope is that he can return to action by mid-May, the club said on March 31.
Priester (right neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome) threw an encouraging bullpen session on March 28 and will repeat once more before traveling to Arizona to face hitters.
Chourio was placed on the injured list on March 26 due to a fractured left hand. He aggravated a previous injury on a check swing during exhibition games against the Reds, and an MRI scan revealed a small fracture.
Jackson Jobe, Troy Melton, Beau Brieske and Sawyer Gipson-Long, Tigers
Jobe (Tommy John surgery) was scheduled to play catch out to 120 feet three times the week of March 30.
Melton (right elbow inflammation) is completing a return-to-play throwing program that began on March 9. He is expected to pitch again this season, according to Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris.
Brieske (left adductor strain) started a return-to-play throwing program the week of March 30.
Gipson-Long (left oblique strain) has thrown three batting practice sessions and completed a bullpen session on March 31.
Merrill Kelly, Corbin Burnes, Pavin Smith, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Adrian Del Castillo and A.J. Puk, D-backs
Kelly's back appears fully recovered, but he will need more time to build up before joining the rotation. He will make a rehab start April 3 for Triple-A Reno.
Burnes (Tommy John surgery) has begun throwing bullpen sessions.
Smith (left elbow inflammation) was placed on the 10-day injured list on March 30. He received a cortisone shot on March 29 after being hampered by elbow issue throughout the spring.
Gurriel (torn ACL in right knee) has been playing in sim games and doing some light running out of the box.
Del Castillo (left calf strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on March 31.
Puk (left elbow surgery) has begun throwing bullpen sessions.
Ryan Feltner, Tyler Freeman, Zac Veen and Mickey Moniak, Rockies
Feltner suffered a right glute contusion when he was hit by a 106.3 mph comebacker in the third inning of the team's March 31 game. He finished the inning but was replaced in the fourth.
Freeman (back tightness/inflammation) is performing baseball activities and may take batting practice during the team's current road trip.
Veen (illness/right knee contusion) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment the week of March 30.
Moniak (sprained right ring finger) expects to be available for the April 3 home opener against the Phillies.
Griffin Canning, Jason Adam, Sung-Mun Song and Yuki Matsui, Padres
Canning (left Achilles tear) is scheduled to make a rehab start with Double-A San Antonio on April 4, his first game action since his 2025 season ended in June because of the injury. He could need a lengthy buildup progression.
Adam (left quadriceps tendon rupture) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings in a rehab outing with Triple-A El Paso on March 28. He could return April 7, the day he is first eligible.
Song (right oblique tightness) began a rehab stint with Triple-A El Paso on March 27.
Matsui (left groin strain) is facing hitters at extended spring training in Arizona and could begin a rehab stint soon.
Nick Lodolo, Reds
Lodolo (blister on left index finger) was scheduled to throw a second side bullpen session on March 31. If all goes well, he will make a rehab start on April 2 and could rejoin the big league club for a start during its April 6-9 series in Miami.
Gavin Stone and Brock Stewart, Dodgers
Stone (right shoulder inflammation) has started a throwing program and essentially has an entire Spring Training ramp-up ahead.
Stewart (right shoulder surgery) faced hitters for the first time on March 27 and was expected to throw at least one more live session on March 31, after which he could begin a rehab assignment.
Gavin Lux and Edwin Uceta, Rays
Lux (right shoulder impingement) traveled with the team to St. Louis and Milwaukee, making about 15 throws in the infield per day in pregame work.
Uceta (right shoulder impingement) pitched a live batting practice session on March 27, with another scheduled for March 31. A rehab assignment should begin soon after.
Hunter Dobbins, Cardinals
Dobbins (torn right ACL) began a 30-day rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on March 31.
Carlos Estévez, Stephen Kolek and Michael Massey, Royals
Estévez (left foot contusion) has been in a walking boot after being hit by a comebacker on March 28. He played catch on March 30.
Kolek (left oblique strain) threw two innings in an extended spring training game on March 28.
Massey (left calf strain) could start a rehab assignment during the upcoming week.
Christopher Morel and Kyle Stowers, Marlins
Morel is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after being placed on IL on March 28 with a left oblique strain.
Stowers (Grade 1 right hamstring strain) was placed on the injured list on March 25 and will be reassessed in 3-4 weeks.
Hayden Birdsong, Giants
Birdsong underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery on March 25.
