Philly has hosted 4 All-Star Games

July 15th, 2020

For only the second time in the history of Major League Baseball, an All-Star Game has been canceled. It was scheduled for July 14 in Dodger Stadium. The 1945 game was canceled because of travel restrictions during World War II.

Baseball’s best players will be coming to Citizens Bank Park for the 2026 All-Star Game. The announcement was made at an impressive media conference held near the Liberty Bell a year ago.

It will be the fifth Midsummer Classic for Philadelphia.
