Here's a look at Wednesday’s top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Mariners: Julio Rodríguez, OF (MLB No. 2), Double-A Arkansas
In addition to drawing two walks, J-Rod laced a game-tying two-run double that proved to be pivotal in the Travelers’ 4-3 win over Wichita. Much like he has been doing at every other level, the top Mariners prospect is tearing it up in Double-A. Since being promoted on June 29, the 20-year-old is batting .349 with an even 1.000 OPS in 58 games -- that includes an insane .481 OBP. Royals: Bobby Witt Jr., SS (MLB No. 3), Triple-A Omaha
Witt Jr. may not have scored or driven in a run in Omaha’s first game of a doubleheader against Toledo, but he did leg out two doubles and add a single for his 13th three-hit game of the season. He added another double in Game 2 and the performances brought Witt Jr.’s Triple-A average up to .304 with 17 two-baggers in 39 games. Tigers: Spencer Torkleson, 3B/1B (MLB No. 4), Triple-A Toledo
While Torkelson has been struggling since getting called up, he has still managed to club a homer in three of his past seven games, including Wednesday. The Tigers’ top prospect secured his third multihomer game of the season with two dingers in the first game of a doubleheader, giving him a two-homer game in each of the three levels he’s played in this year. Batting in the three spot, Torkelson accounted for three of Toledo’s seven runs in the game. The 22-year-old has mashed 25 homers and driven in 75 runs in 95 games. Tigers prospect stats »

Padres: Robert Hassell III, OF (MLB No. 46), High-A Fort Wayne
Hassell had a historic night in Fort Wayne’s marathon 12-11 win in extras. For his first career multihomer game, the Padres’ No. 3 prospect clubbed three dingers and drove in five in just his third game at the High-A level. Perhaps the most remarkable part of his feat is that he didn’t hit a homer until the fifth inning, when a solo shot broke a 5-5 tie. In the next frame, he added a two-run shot before taking advantage of extra innings to club another two-run homer as part of a four-run 11th for the TinCaps. The 8th overall pick of the 2020 Draft, Hassell brought his season long ball total to 10 and has tallied 70 RBIs in 95 games across two levels in his first professional season, with a .321 average and 31 stolen bases to boot. Brewers: Joe Gray Jr., OF (No. 9), High-A Wisconsin
Gray joined the 20-20 club Wednesday when he stole second in the top of the fourth inning, his eighth stolen base in High-A and 20th overall. The 2018 second-rounder hit home run No. 20 on Tuesday and as an added bonus, he smacked his 20th double of the year on Aug. 25. Gray is enjoying a breakout season after playing just 55 combined games in Rookie ball in his previous two seasons. The 21-year-old is batting .268 across two levels with 88 RBIs (the most in the Minors), 48 walks and nine triples. Brewers prospect stats »

Marlins: Griffin Conine, OF (No. 22), Double-A Pensacola
Conine retook sole possession of the MiLB home run lead with his 35th dinger of the year, a two-run shot on the first pitch he saw in the top of the second to cut Montgomery’s lead to one. It’s Conine’s fifth homer out of the five-spot this year, and the 24-year-old added a walk and scored two runs in Pensacola’s 8-6 win. The slugger continues to shatter his previous career-high mark of 22 dingers he set back in 2019. He’s currently one homer ahead of friend and No. 4 Royals prospect MJ Melendez on the leaderboard. Orioles: Kevin Smith, LHP (No. 14), Triple-A Norfolk
Smith tossed his first scoreless outing in four starts, going five strong innings of three-hit ball while striking out four. It’s the fourth time this season the southpaw has gone five innings in a start. The 24-year-old Smith has amassed 54 strikeouts in 44 1/3 Triple-A innings this year, giving him a total of 91 punchouts in 70 1/3 innings (18 outings) across two levels this season.
