Start the 2nd half with a weekend of free MLB.TV

July 20th, 2022

After an All-Star break that featured countless memorable moments, baseball is back for the second half -- and all you need to watch it is an MLB.com account.

From Thursday to Sunday, all games on MLB.TV will be free to watch without a credit card (excluding Apple TV+, Peacock and ESPN games).

Some notable matchups available in the free window include the division-leading Astros and Yankees starting things off with a doubleheader (Thursday), Shohei Ohtani taking the bump against the defending champion Braves (Friday) and All-Star Joe Musgrove taking on the Mets (Sunday).

After their doubleheader with the Yankees, the Astros will play a three-game weekend series against the red-hot Seattle Mariners, who headed into the break on a 14-game winning streak. Other notable games in the window include divisional matchups between the White Sox and the Guardians, the Blue Jays and the Red Sox and the Giants vs. the Dodgers.

Local pregame and postgame coverage is available for select teams, airing live before and after each game.

If the free weekend gets you hooked, new subscribers can sign up for MLB.TV’s yearly subscription, which enables you to stream every out-of-market game, live or on demand, on your favorite supported devices, for $94.99. You can also subscribe to a single-team package for $74.99.
