In honor of Memorial Day, Mariners and Rangers players will wear a red poppy emblem and the words “Lest We Forget” on the left side of their jerseys. The right side of their caps will feature a patch of a silhouetted batter against the background of stars and stripes and the words Memorial Day. Over the course of the 2019 season, MLB will donate 100% of royalties from the sales of apparel worn during military and patriotic holidays (Armed Forces Day, Independence Day, etc.) to charities including Folds of Honor and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). Last year, over $500,000 was donated through the program.

Ceremonial First Pitch – Jason Van Camp, Executive Director of Warrior Rising, nonprofit organization that empowers U.S. military veterans by providing opportunities to earn employment, create sustainable businesses, and perpetuate the hiring of fellow U.S. military veterans.

Sonics NBA Championship 40**th** Anniversary Celebration – The Mariners tip our caps to the 1979 NBA Champion Seattle SuperSonics. Former Sonics schedule to attend the pregame ceremony include Fred Brown, Jack Sikma, Gus Williams and coach Lenny Wilkens.

Fight Hunger Night -- The Seattle Mariners are once again joining with KIRO Radio 97.3 FM and Northwest Harvest for the annual food and donations drive at T-Mobile Park known as Fight Hunger Night. Little League Day -- All kids, 14 and younger, will receive a Mariners bat and ball set and Little League teams (and family members) can parade around the warning track pregame.

Art Mikelsen Mariners Care Little League Scholarship Grant – A $5,000 grant will be awarded to Columbia Little League (Clark County) to provide scholarships for Little League participants and defray costs of their uniforms, equipment, etc. The award is named in honor of Art Mikelsen of Kitsap County, Little League International’s longest serving District Administrator and founder of the Mariners Little League partnership.

MLB Prostate Cancer Foundation Home Run Challenge – Mike Milken, chairman and founder of the Prostate Cancer Foundation (and a cancer survivor), will be at T-Mobile Park for a pregame presentation to kick off the annual MLB Prostate Cancer Foundation Home Run Challenge. Each year, during the month of June, MLB and the PCF team up to support efforts to find a cure for prostate cancer. From June 1-16, fans are invited to take the Home Run Challenge and enter for a chance to win a trip to MLB All-Star Week in Cleveland. With the help of MLB and all 30 teams, more than $55 million has been raised for prostate cancer research.
